Nintendo’s struggling home console, the Wii U, has a new sold through figure to attach to it: 9.2 million. After a bit of time without tangible numbers, Nintendo has updated the system’s sales in their Q3 Financial Report. Although the numbers may seem insignificant in comparison to competitors who came onto the scene a year later, it does show promise for Nintendo’s home console.
The company reported more than usual growth for the system thanks to 2014 titles such as Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Wii U and expects to see further growth for the hardware.
