PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida Says He’s Excited for Zelda on E3 Stage

PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios President, Shuhei Yoshida was on stage in Sony’s E3 2016 booth today talking about all things PlayStation for the PlayStation live stream. During the discussion, he noted many of the games that he enjoyed and is excited about. Obviously a number of them were Sony games such as Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, Batman VR, Farpoint, and God of War.

However, he threw in a little bit there about a game he’s excited to play and can’t wait until it comes out, from the neighboring booth and competitor, Nintendo.

Mr. Yoshida says he’s very excited about Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which has a playable demo on the show floor. An animated Shuhei commented,

“I just played Zelda! The new Zelda game. You know, open world, and hunting. And I had a bizarre feel, this feels like Horizon. This is a epic, huge game. I can not wait to play Zelda again when it comes out.”

This shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows about Shuhei as he’s not just some regular executive but an avid gamer. Mr. Yoshida has been even noted to have two Wii U’s and enjoys playing the platform with his children.

What games are you excited to play from E3 2016?
