Xbox Introduces Game Pass Subscription Service

Microsoft has announced a new Xbox subscription service called Xbox Game Pass. The service, set to launch publicly Spring 2017, will give players unlimited access to a catalog of games to rent – both Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles and Xbox One games. Starting with over 100 games, the service is promising “endless play.”

Xbox Game Pass will cost $9.99 per month and you will be able to download the game directly to your Xbox One hard drive. If you want to keep those games and add-ons forever, you can purchase them at a discounted price with the Xbox Game Pass.

The service will be in private testing with the Xbox Insider Program until its official release later this Spring.
